As part of an overall digital transformation, the National Museum of Denmark aimed to enhance the visitor experience across all its locations. The objective was to make it easier for users to discover exhibitions, events and cultural content across the museum’s universe. Our role was to develop the frontend for the new digital platform. The solution is built for performance, accessibility and long-term flexibility, using a headless setup with Sanity as the content management system. It supports multiple sites and user types, from the general public to internal teams working with research, collections and conservation. The frontend structure allows content editors to work efficiently across all museum branches while providing a consistent and cohesive user experience. With the main National Museum site now live, the full digital platform has come together.
